Makeup Collection Favorites {Powders, Primers, and Brows}

Another makeup collection post! As I try to pare down my makeup and keep it minimal to my absolute favorites – I bring to you what my holy grails are! In hopes of using up what doesn’t make the cut and keeping my own collection simple.

This blog post is all about the Powders, primers and brow products I’ve used and loved for a long time.

Face Powders:

Coty Airspun Loose Powder {translucent}: drugstore price with high-end quality! I’ve loved this powder for baking my concealer for years now and it’s hasn’t failed me yet! Definitely a must have.

NYC Smooth Skin Loose Powder{translucent}: Another amazing and affordable baking powder! It’s a light weight powder that gives coverage and makes my makeup last all day long.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder {transparent}: a great drugstore pressed powder – very adorable and does the job to eliminate shine!

Motives Photo Finish {neutral light} pressed powder: love this powder! Sets my makeup to a smooth finish and has a lot of product.

Benefit Porefessional Matte Rescue: I’ve started using this product recently but I do notice a difference with shine throughout the day when using it. With oily skin, this product really helps.

Smashbox Pore Minimizing Primer: my all time favorite Pore minimizer right now. This stuff is amazing! It really does the job at filling in my pores and giving a smooth look to my skin.

Nyx white lid primer: great when I’m using colored eye shadows. The white color really brings out the pigment.

Too Faced Shadow Insurance: a very long time favorite! Helps keep my shadows from creasing and smudging off throughout the day. Definitely a must have in my collection.

Morphe M432 is a great flat definer brush for concealing after my brow products. I use this spoolie to blend through product as well. For pre-brow product I go between the Nyx brow wax and Elf brow wax. Helps hold the brow hairs in place.

Anastasia Brow Wiz and pomade: the brow wiz is another long time favorite. It is so natural looking when applied. Although I don’t use the pomade as much I wanted to include it because sometimes I do. This product isn’t sticky or thick – it’s a perfect consistency for perfect brows!

Nyx Sculpt & Highlight brow pencil: my favorite drugstore brow pencil! It’s mechanical and easy to use. It also has a concealer end to it so cleaning up around the brow is easy and convenient. Makes my brows look naturally full every time!

Wetnwild brow powder kit: although another I use infrequently, I will choose brow Powders when I don’t have a lot of makeup on that day. If I am wearing minimal makeup, I usually don’t draw out of the brow line to make them fuller like with pencils; but keep it to my natural brow hairs for easy quick brows.

Milani Clear Brow Gel and Blinc Clear Brow Mouse products are both great. Although the Blinc definitely holds my brows in place a liiiitle more – the milani gel is so adorable  at the drugstore and easy to obtain.
